Many associations are rightly intentional about evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, but lack theological grounding. Whereas other groups are sound in doctrine but seem less intentional about evangelism, church-planting or revitalizing, and training leaders for the same.

California often seems underserved by many associations and publications in the US. Despite its size, population, cultural influence, and the current depth of churches and schools already here
- Its often overlooked in publications, conferences, and ministry focus
- Its regularly treated only disdainfully by Christians in wider publications and media.
- Its opportunities and current resources for wider gospel ministry is neglected
We believe there is a need for a statewide network of pastors, church officers, and ministerial students united in the conviction that renewal in our churches and reaching our communities will grow as we deepen our roots in the faith and practice of the Reformed tradition. Regional pastoral fraternals and a statewide fellowship can serve to connect California’s pastors to one another and their Reformational heritage.
